A–Z23 terms
Unetwork (formerly Unity Network) — The decentralised telecom-verification network your phone works for. Rebranded from Unity Network in early 2026; licences and rewards carried over unchanged.
Unity Node / node (device) — A phone running the Unetwork app under a licence, doing network measurement and verification work.
ULO — Licence Operator — You: the person running a licence on a phone. Everything on this site is written for ULOs.
UNO — Node Operator — The network-side operator behind a licence. Every licence carries a reward split between its UNO and the ULO running it.
Licence — A digital credential that lets one device join eligible network tasks. One licence, one device — extra phones need their own licences.
Lease code / claim code — The code we email you. Entered once in the app, it binds the licence to that device. Codes from us are held for 14 days before being released back to the pool.
Reward split — How approved rewards divide between the UNO and ULO on a licence. The split is fixed when the code is claimed and shown in the app.
UP — Unetwork Points — The reward unit. 1 UP is worth 1 USD. Approved UP is withdrawable by crypto, PayPal or bank transfer.
Pending / approved rewards — Rewards first sit in review (surveys can pend 30–60 days); once validation passes they become approved and withdrawable.
Uptime — How consistently your device stays online, signed in and ready. Better uptime, more task opportunities — keep it above your licence’s minimum.
Task — Eligible network work assigned through the app — availability varies by country, carrier and demand.
Telemetry — The passive task: real service measurements from real devices and connections. The baseline earner.
Entropy — A passive task where devices contribute verifiable real-world randomness for secure systems. Rewards still being finalised.
Caller ID Testing (CLI) — An opt-in task checking that test calls display the correct caller ID. Needs a SIM that can receive calls.
SMS Testing — An opt-in task verifying that sender ID and message content arrive unchanged. Needs a number that can receive texts.
Scout — An advanced, KYC-verified role: finding possible voice routes with test calls from a dedicated prepaid SIM and reporting results exactly.
Runner — An advanced, KYC-verified role: verifying Scout-found routes with live manual calls of at least 30 seconds.
ScoutQuest — A periodic Scout research module for submitting local prepaid SIM and package combinations for review.
Dedicated prepaid SIM — A SIM or eSIM bought only for Scout/Runner work — never your personal daily SIM.
KYC — identity verification — The identity check required before any withdrawal, and before Scout & Runner participation.
Validation — The review that decides whether a piece of work earns. Honest, accurate reporting is what passes it.
Management portal — manage.unetwork.io — where operators track earnings per device and make withdrawals.
